End-of-grant-period reporting requirements for 2015-16

Given the transition from the Indirect Costs Program to the Research Support Fund (RSF) in 2015-16, the RSF is adjusting its end-of-grant-period reporting requirements to allow for a longer transition period.

For 2015-16, the three end-of-grant period requirements are being maintained for those institutions subject to each requirement, except that completing the full Outcomes Report form will not be mandatory.

To report on the 2015-16 year, institutions that received RSF funding must use the transition version of the Outcomes Report. The transition version will only include:

  • a qualitative question about how the RSF grant contributed to sustaining a strong research environment at the institution;
  • four questions about the implementation of the Research Support Fund communications strategy; and
  • a box in which to insert, where applicable, the link to the webpage on the institution’s website where the required institutional performance outcomes have been posted.

The transition version of the Outcomes Report must be completed and submitted via FluidSurveys.

The deadline for the 2015-16 fiscal year has been extended to July 29, 2016.
